This is an intermediate course focusing on driveshafts, clutches, transmissions, transfer cases, and hybrid systems. The course is separated into two sections: a 50 hour theory component combined with a 50 hour work placement. The work placement must be set up with the school career and work exploration teacher.

Work Placement

This 50 hour theory component is combined with a 50 hour work placement. The work placement component must be set up with the school Career and Work Exploration teacher and provides the learner with hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. This is an advanced level course that requires learners to demonstrate practical skills in combination with automotive repair theory.

All learners, parents, mentors and, where appropriate, school-based administrators are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement policies.
